Looking at myself now,
Long held down by the machines,
My brain set out to construct,
Lost myself between the circitry,
Inside a narcistic existance,
Buried deeper a soft exterior,
Unexposed by the walls of fear,
Holding back the world so near,
Feeling the crumbling cracks,
Myself I, me alone in this concrete hall,
Exposed, crying for life,
As the concrete exterior of my psyche,
Collapse into a puddle of rubble,
Standing alone, naked, shivering, alone,
Crying for the attention of every passer byer,
Alone, crying, alone,
Were all alone,
The voice tells me it will be okay,
We’re all alone,
Yes…
You write from such depths, it’s incredible to me

I started to respond and found I was writing a paragraph, thank you, that is the best compliment.

I have been fascinated with literature since I was 4. I spent many years alone in the hallway overlooking the magical green mountains in VT. When I look past the pain of life I see such beauty and vibrancy. The world shouts and I hear it. Metaphorically of course. I admire the descriptiveness of the 1700 and 1800ās, the pictures they painted with words. Whenever I read the words of an author who can paint with letters I find I deeply admire them. Iām currently working on the second editing of a childrenās novela about Gnomes and a squirrel. When I find myself in that space, I am at peace. The most unfortunate circumstance is that to write posts like today I have to be in a place of hurt. Which has been deep lately. Iām grieving many family members, lost friendships, and lost family relationships due to strife. And this month I found out my previous diagnosis of glaucoma has returned after a few years hiatus. Luckily there are options, it just came back at a very hard time already. In all I believe I am gifted with the ability to access pain and twist it into what I post. I never plan what I write. Mostly itās off the cuff, at most it takes me an hour. Im going to check out your blog again, I havenāt been reading much lately, and it will be a lovely reason to start. Thank you so much for a reason to smile tonight.
