A graduate of Liberty Universities Bachelor of Science in Religion program and a Minor in Biblical Studies, he also studied Buisness Administration and pursued a Masters of Arts in Human Services. He spent the first seven years of his life enlisted in the US Navy as a RP2(SW), Religious Program Specialist. He deployed to war twice, the first deployment in 2003 covering both theaters Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. His second deployment was in Enduring Freedom located in The Horn of Africa. He loves literature, reading since he was a lad of 4. Inspired by books like "Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame, "The Boxcar Children" by Gertrude Chandler Warner, "The Hardy Boys" by ghost writer Franklin W. Dixon, The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. Poets that inspire him are Robert Frost, Edward Allen Poe, and Emily Dickinson.
