Project

So many unfinished projects laying about, clustering my office with their frizzy voices all screaming, “finish me, finish me… finish me!” Inside my head another voice rings out, “lazy, unproductive, product of depression, and utterly useless.” Then at times despite feeling out of control, lazy, useless, depressed, I have to make a 180 and help many others see that they are none of those things, except maybe depressed. That darn melancholy, always trying to get in the way of those projects. Each one left undone, a hole in my soul where the creative process hit a wall or feel into a deep gulch at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. Luckily, I found a cure for today, it might not work tomorrow, I feel excited about today though. I was digging through my inbox the other day and found a childs book I was working on for my niece a few years back. I’ve revived it and am working on editing my work and adapting it to her new age bracket. I’m excited, I see all this vision. Illustrations, book bindings, typing or handwritten. So many choices, I wish I had the finances to get help, maybe even publish the book for a short time. The opportunities are endless.
