Deepening sense of purpose,

Fighting for what’s right,

Fighting myself to accept,

The dark inside of me,

A sinner never lucky enough,

For a chicken dinner,

Searching day and night,

Living life out the skylight,

Delving into the soul,

Mining emotions,

Digging deep for the emotional gold,

Searching for the end goal,

The purpose to this life,

Exploring my past,

How did I fall so far,

How did I fail so hard,

How did I stray afar,

How do I put it back together again,

Struggling with daily burdens,

Mind in some kind of jar,

Combating my many mental wardens.
