A wise man asks questions,
Listens to change his own mind,
Accepts his world has flaws,
Organizes his resources in order to care for those he loves,
Prepares for tragedy,
While living as if tragedy has happened already,
Treating peace and war time equally,
Working to protect,
All the while caring for the causes,
Continuing to listen to wise council,
For a wife is the cornerstone which he builds his life,
Sharing with one another the fruits of equal toil,
Calloused hands holding ashy hands,
Soft smiles with hard lined eyes,
Staring to the other,
For in her he sees the diamond,
Her vicious nature the pride by his side,
Him protecting her flank,
She the warrior sure to cut,
Walking through waves of exhaustion and pain,
Her pride, her tribe, her offspring,
She the mighty one,
Social dominance undefeated,
She brings to him her collection of souls,
Her connections to the outwards unknown,
His introverted eyes and mouth,
Nodding in silence,
Telling her heart his pride for her ability,
As one they face life,
Hand in hand, fingers entwined,
As tight as their ties to life,
Their treasures abound,
Love, happiness, and accomplishment.
