Still

Stillness, still ness, still,

To be still,

Along the loch’s beach,

Still watching frozen ripple,

Time, still, stillness, still ripples,

As time stands, frozen among the sand,

Beaches full and ripe,

Frozen pebbles vibrating in stillness’s grasp,

Alone in a second,

Neither a variable,

Or of importance,

Lost on the connection to the next second,

As stillness watches their time slowly stand still,

In the stillness of the universe,

We all share this one still moment.

I imagine this is how it would feel to live for eternity, never counting your life in terms of age because you only see life as a singular moment.
