The radio flickered to life,
{Reverberated} “Come on down to Earl’s Flee market this weekend,
Twenty percent off and b.o.g.o deals up and down every aisle.
Hank sighed heavily, his hand leaning against the wall, staring out his kitchen window.
The radio came to life,
Metal scratched on metal as appendages jetted out every direction,
Something like a three legged one armed machine stood before Hank.
He quickly spat his beer, stammered and fell backwards across his couch.
The radio approached while tuning new knobs on its face,
{Phasered} “There…. we… {Max Reverb} go, I think, almost…
{Robotic} “Well Hank, its been a while since you turned me on.
Why did you even buy me Hank? I just sit here, gathering dust, come on look at me,
my own mother would hardly recognize me.” Radio banged on his head knocking around components and loose dust fell off in a poofy cloud, raining to the floor.
Hanks mouth moved trying to make sound, he noticed first his pants were soaked, then that he had spilled his beer. Anger motivated him now, “look, look here now…. what did you…. you made me spill my beer.”
Radio spoke in the aroused tone of a beer commercial voice actor, “beer, beer, beer! 10% off this weekend, all beer, come on down to liquor emporium off of circle and vine…” static…
Ignoring the massive radio standing in his living room, Hank went to the restroom in attempt to salvage his new khakis, it was a hopeless attempt. Frustrated and angry Hank stormed pantless to his bedroom with Radio quick at his heels.;;
