Dark desolated passage way through,

Portal wide apart calling us forward,

Running backwards,

Horrified faces scream,

Silence echoes in return,

Caverned hell gapes ahead,

Arms stretch outwards grasping for solid soul,

Closer we creep,

harder we fight,

Life in helpless moment,

Under the skin we feel those crawling insects of fear,

Goosebumps surge as adrenaline fires,

Horror, oh horror,

Feeling cobwebs fleece our soul,

We scream,

and scream,

and scream,

Closer we are,

harder we fight,

Nowhere to run,

Passageway collapses,

We scream in silence as our souls creep by,

Passing us into gaping cavern,

Down that liquid portal,

Into our darkest hells.
