Tell us about your first day at something β school, work, as a parent, etc.
Advanced school after boot camp had ended about 6 months since I left. There I stood on the pier, the wind sliced like ice swords. Pushing my way onboard I request permission to board. The checkin process was smooth, getting lost around the ship was easier. My bunk was small, yet that pride welled up inside. I made it, I did it, I am still proud of myself.
Six months. What happened? You should write about that sometime. I knew of people in holding at Corey Station. They were there for the entire enlistment.

Sure that is a great idea. I will write a post about it, but in all reality those 6 months I meant were spent in A school and bootcamp. Luckily I didn’t get put on holding till I got out because of medical.
