Meeting My Grandmother

Sitting at your grave the other day,

I had a conversation in the rain on this May,

Grandma, we never knew one another,

But I can’t help but wonder,

How your smile would of made me giggle,

Or if your tickles would of made me wiggle,

How your cookies tasted,

And how everlasting your love would have lasted,

I sorrow that we never knew one another,

I look forward to the day we meet each other.
