I started this sketch when I was hiking down a trail.  Today I put the finishing touches on it.  The small country baseball field sitting below the mountain range is testament to the Ol’ American past time.  The mountain range was beautiful that day, the shadows played across the valleys and peaks.  The trees were budding in early spring and the air was hot with a bright sun.

I used Toison D’or 1900 2B & Toison D’or 1900 4B pencils to capture the sketching and shadows.  I shaded using my finger to rub out the shadows and an Faber-Castell Gum Art Eraser to capture the light.
