30 minutes later the bridge officer calls for us to report back to deck and the CO hands us both our ESWS pins.

The CMC tried to request to the CO for him to take it back but the CO refused.

That is how I became a RP3(SW) and him a GMSA(SW), we finished the qual book afterwards.
