I face death after death,
His cloak quick,
Bone fingers rattling along the stair well,
Running up stairs,
Natures taken its course,
Standing by grave,
Your husband standing next,
To his nee husband,
As they lower you into the grave,
Conflicted friend standing,
Wishing he understood,
Pushed away and gaslighted,
While mourning the loss of his dear friend,
He wrote you a poem,
He gave of his heart,
Betrayed by his blindness,
Kindness a mask often for the deceiving,
Words of users,
People who care for their dollar,
Unable to see a heart in a blender.
“Kindness a mask often for the deceiving” Ahh, I love this line, such truth in your words. Great writing.

I’ve been used a lot in life for my generous spirit.
