Quiet words spoke by aged voice,

Lulling conversation through,

Lilac fields blooming poppy,

Filling dreams as Dorothy sleeps,

Inside, fantasy blends temporal fields of reality,

Fingers wrap axe handle mightly,

Straw stuffs itself methodically,

Fur dashes fearfully,

Dress steps, dancing perfect golden steps,

Green clouds fog vision,

Enhanced sleep takes mighty to ground,

Tornado twists,

D.O.R.O-

THY!

DOROTHY!

Green towers blaze,

Aged wizard embedded behind silk curtain,

Twisting knoblike gizmoes,

Hollow promises never kept,

Shouting ghost emblazed emotions spread icelike tendrils,

Hurrying through crowded street,

Running, suicide mission,

I’M MELTING!

I’M.

I’M.

I’M MELTING!

Return ruby slippered foot,

Home to dreams,

Home sweet home.
