One of my favorite photos, were in formation on our way home from the OIF & OEF war in 2003. Our ship participated in both theaters of operation. USS ANZIO CG-68 named after the Beach Head and Battle of Anzio in WWII that allowed the Allies to take foothold in Italy and move north to win Italy back from the Axis. We fired 11 missiles in response to the hostilities of Iraq. As Memorial Day has passed I took a moment to remember all the shipmates who are no longer with us that served together onboard this fine she devil of a ship. Stand and Fight, Hoorah!
