Eph 5:21-33
“Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In the same way, husbands out to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church – for we are members of His body…. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”

To be Christ like is to rule one’s heart with Love & Forgiveness, Respect & Kindness. Without regard or bias to any part of another human, love each other for who we are, what we are, the differences between the other, for belief, pride, or loyalty. We are the Body of Christ, and Christ commands that we love each other. That is the beauty and mystery of marriage, the union between husband and wife fulfills the role, just as communion fulfills a role, that we are united as one, as we are with Christ.
